Tomato Salad and Linguine Aglio e Olio

Tomato Salad

Ingredients
8oz tomato
1 1/2 oz of onions
Hot pepper (if desired)
Black pepper
Salt
Oregano (if desired)
Three Basil Leaves
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (I recommend Filippo Berio Dressing and Marinating)

First start by slicing the tomato into quarter inch slices. Then dice up the 1 1/2 oz of onions, dump the onions onto the tomatoes. Sprinkle a bit of black pepper and salt until your satisfied with the taste. Now begin ripping the basil into a few more pieces and put it on top of the tomatoes. Now being drizzling the Olive Oil on top of the tomatoes; don't over do it.

Now here are a few pictures to give you a better idea.

Enjoy!

Linguine Aglio e Olio

Ingredients
6oz of Linguine Pasta
4 tablespoons of Olive Oil (Recommend: Filippo Berio Dressing and Marinating)
1 Clove of Garlic
Hot Pepper (if desired)

This can take anywhere from 8 to 11 minutes to make.

Put a couple cups of water for boil and begin cutting the garlic into your desired size. Put the garlic into a pan and hot pepper if desired and pour 4 tablespoons of olive oil into the pan, turn the gas on low while the water begins to boil. You don't want the garlic to burn too much, lower gas if it does. Once the pasta is ready to be strained, turn the gas on the garlic and oil up a bit. When you strain the water from the pasta make sure you don't let all the water out, leave about 2 oz of water in the pot. Now add the garlic and oil into the pot of pasta. Be very careful when dealing with the hot oil. You can also add fresh basil on top.
