Linguine with Broccoli

Today I will be making Linguine with Broccoli. Of course you don't have to use Linguine pasta, you can use which ever pasta you like.

Ingredients

Linguine
Broccoli
2 Cloves of Garlic
Hot Pepper (if desired)
2-4 oz of Olive Oil (depends on you)

How to Prepare:
First wash the broccoli heads and cut them into reasonable portions. Then put the pieces into a bowl of cold water, let them soak a bit. Next cut the garlic and pepper into small pieces and put them into a pan. Now pour 3 oz of olive oil into the pan with the garlic and oil. Turn the gas to medium, to brown the garlic, once brown put gas on low.

If the pasta takes 9 minutes to cook, then you want to throw the broccoli into the boiling pasta once it has been cooking for 5 minutes. The broccoli needs to cook for only 4 minutes, this way it is not too hard and not too soft; just in between. Next you want to dump only a little bit of the water, similar to the way I made the Linguine Aglio e Olio. You want to leave about 1 cup of water in the pot, so it's almost like a soup. Next dump the oil with garlic and pepper on to the pasta with broccoli; now mix. Serve, Enjoy!
