Recently, I went in and found something I have actually wanted a long time. A measuring conversion glass beaker. But it gets better...it is MADE IN ITALY! It's about 10 inches tall, about 4 inches in diameter across the top, and the measurements are actually molded into the glass, so they won't wash away over time. It's a beautiful aqua green color, kind of like the old coke glasses, being the result of iron impurities in the sand.

"Nonna in the Kitchen"
for me. Why? Because it helps me with recipes from other countries (read ITALY) that are written in grams. Each of the six sides have different measuring purposes. It has English, French, and German. Why no Italiano??? Measurement Beaker/Cup Six Sides:
(1) Flour - Farine - Mehl in ounces and grams.(2) Sugar - Sucre - Zucker in ounces and grams.
(3) Rice - Riz - Reis in ounces and grams.
(4) Milliliters 50 - 700 ml
(5) Fluid Ounces 2 - 26 oz
(6) Cups 1/4 - 3 cups

This is my new pride and joy. We used it in making our homemade chocolate hazelnut "better than nutella" spread and then in using that spread in our biscotti recipe. Oh, did I hear you ask for those recipes too? ;) They will be posted soon.
No promises you will score this from World Market, but one can only hope.
