Original Sicily Spaghetti with shrimp recipe


SPAGHETTI WITH SHRIMP
In Sicilian cuisine , this crustacean is used in wide use, both dishes more or less common , and for the most elegant , such as shrimp cocktail . In addition , the shrimp have a low calorie (71 calories per ounce ) , and what's more they are rich in phosphorus and potassium.

 In our recipe , the source of Marsala , are protagonists for its unique taste which is exploited to the maximum.
This simple first course has the advantage of simplicity and naturalness.

Ingredients

500 grams spaghetti
400 g peeled shrimp
500 grams peeled tomatoes into chunks
1 clove of garlic
1 bunch of parsley
½ onion
Extra virgin olive oil
Sale q.b.

Preparation

Sauté the chopped onion in a pan in abundant oil. Add the tomatoes , without seeds and garlic into small pieces removing the bud (or integer). As soon as the tomato is wilted and well flavored , season with salt and plenty of pepper ; cook for a few moments and then scrambling to flame , flame lighter, finish cooking for about twenty minutes . At this point, add the peeled shrimp , finely chopped parsley and cook for few minutes lascaire .
Cook the spaghetti al dente and add them to the sauce. Sautee , over high heat for some time and still serve with a sprinkling chopped parsley.
